J.B. Poindexter & Co., Inc. business unit Morgan Truck Body showcased two brand new innovations at booth #909 at the 2023 NTEA Work Truck Week – a Class 4 Parcel Van Full-height Walk-through (PVW) and a Mobile Service Unit – Roadside Assistance Vehicle (RAV).
The PVW truck body features an EV chassis provided by Pritchard Commercial and offers full-height walk-through capability and is designed for increased driver convenience and productivity.
“Fleet owners asked for more cargo space, more driver convenience, and efficiency to streamline their operations,” said Morgan Truck Body Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing Tom Diez. “The Class 4 PVW is the culmination of listening to the voice of the customer and collaborating with OEMs and innovators like Pritchard Commercial. They understand the marketplace because they have a pulse on customers’ needs and requirements.”
THE RAV – which was developed due to the growing need for mobile fleet service –will be featured on an Isuzu NPR-HD gas-powered 14,500 GVWR chassis.
“Morgan Mobile Service Units answer that demand and can be custom designed for a wide variety of fleet on-site maintenance, inspection, and repair needs, with the goal of getting drivers back on the road quickly and safely,” Diez said.
